Elegant and easy fish roll canapé topped with herb cream cheese, perfect for parties, catering, or gourmet appetizers with a refined presentation.
Servings: 12 - 15 Pieces
Ingredients
For the base:
1 baguette, sliced (1–1.5 cm thick) or crackers
For the topping:
2 fish rolls, sliced into thin rounds
150 g cream cheese (room temperature)
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp chives, finely chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For garnish:
Microgreens or additional chopped chives
Lemon zest (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the base
Lightly toast the baguette slices in the oven at 180°C for 5–7 minutes until crisp. Let cool.
Make the herb cream cheese
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, parsley, and chives. Season with salt and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Assemble the canapé
Spread or pipe a layer of herb cream cheese onto each toasted baguette slice or cracker.
Add the fish roll
Place 1–2 slices of fish roll on top of each piece.
Garnish & finish
Top with microgreens, extra chives, or a touch of lemon zest for freshness.
Serve
Arrange neatly on a serving platter and serve immediately.

Use a piping bag for a more refined, elegant look.
Add a thin slice of cucumber underneath for extra texture.
For premium presentation, brush baguette lightly with olive oil before toasting.
