Squid Roll Fried Noodles

A quick and flavorful squid roll fried noodle recipe made with tender squid rolls, fresh vegetables, and savory Asian seasonings. Ready in just 20 minutes, this easy homemade meal is perfect for busy weeknights.


Servings: 2 Portions


Ingredients

  • 6 of Seafoodking squid rolls, sliced diagonally

  • 200 g fresh egg noodles (or instant egg noodles)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced

  • 1 small carrot, julienned

  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded

  • 1 handful bok choy or mustard greens, chopped

  • 1 egg (optional)

  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

  • 2 spring onions, sliced


Seasoning Sauce

  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce

  • ½ tsp ground white pepper

  • ½ tsp chicken seasoning powder (optional)

  • 2 tbsp water


Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.

  3. Sauté the garlic and shallots until fragrant.

  4. Add the sliced squid rolls and cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through.

  5. Push the squid rolls to one side of the pan. Crack in the egg and scramble until cooked (if using).

  6. Add the carrot, cabbage, and bok choy. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.

  7. Add the cooked noodles and pour in the seasoning sauce.

  8. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated and heated through.

  9. Stir in the spring onions and cook for another minute.
