Thai Fish Cake Flatbread

A delicious Thai-inspired flatbread topped with savory fish cakes, zesty chili-lime sauce, and fresh herbs, perfect for a quick, modern fusion meal at home.


Servings: 2 - 3 Portions


Ingredients

Base:

  • 2–3 flatbreads / tortillas / pita bread


Toppings:

  • 200 g Seafoodking Thai fish cakes, sliced

  • ½ onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 small bell pepper, sliced

  • 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese


Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp chili sauce (or sambal)

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tsp honey (optional)


Garnish:

  • Fresh cilantro or basil leaves

    • Chili flakes (optional)

  • Lime wedges


Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce

    In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, chili sauce, lime juice, and honey until smooth. Set aside.


  2. Prepare the fish cakes

    Slice the Thai fish cakes into thin pieces. Lightly pan-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly crispy. Set aside.


  3. Assemble the flatbread

    Place the flatbread on a baking tray. Spread a thin layer of the sauce evenly over the base.


  4. Add toppings

    Arrange sliced fish cakes, onions, and bell peppers on top. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly.


  5. Bake

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the edges turn slightly crispy.


  6. Finish & serve

    Remove from the oven. Top with fresh herbs, chili flakes, and a squeeze of lime juice.


  7. Slice & enjoy

    Cut into portions and serve warm.
